It's been cold, cold, cold here but we escaped to the warm Florida sun this week. The kids soaked it up!
This was a daily occurrence (honestly probably 3-4 times a day). Pretty sure every morning they woke up, ate breakfast, changed into swim suits (usually still wet from the night before) and jumped in the pool. The pool would be steaming because it was so much warmer than the air, but they soaked it up!
Their cousin Jade was also down there, so they enjoyed a little cousin time!
dancing...I think?
We headed down to the beach one day. It is winter in Florida, so highs were around 70. It was windy too (at the beach) so honestly, I was cold (I know, I know...it's all relative) but they didn't mind at all.
A random stranger asked to take a photo of us together because he said Lauren was "too cute to not get a photo with her Mama". ok? And it's in focus...nice job!
These 4 got along so well all week! It was nice for Lauren to have a girl to play with and the boys and Jade told each other what to do...just like she was their sister :)
RUN!
working on word searchers, waiting for dinner
a little morning at the park, waiting for it to warm up a bit
and then an afternoon swimming at the pool. We are lucky and typically stay with Kim (since we have the kids) so everyone else stayed at a hotel a few blocks away. The kids loved the bigger pool so we spent one afternoon swimming there.
We had a blast, didn't want to come home and are cuddled up in our house now freezing :)
As soon as we got to our car at the airport, all three kids declared, "they are moving to Florida, it's WAY too cold in Minnesota!"
