Flag football

Dylan started flag football last week since soccer wrapped up on Saturday.  We figured we'd introduce  them to all the sports and let them decide what they liked best.  I quickly realized he needs a little football throwing lesson from Grandpa Dolan! :)

 This is the guy that runs the clinic.  He reminded me a LOT of my Dad.  Super intense (like Dad used to be :), great teacher and he kept all 40 of those kids in line; no talking, no rough housing, we're here to play football!  But he was also GREAT with the 5 year old's since they were the youngest, teaching them how to properly throw and catch.  He was great. 

 The kid in the front here is Marex, he's in Dylan's preschool class.  I coordinated with his mom so Dylan would have a friend playing with him.  Marex is 5 and also has two older brothers (7 and 9) who are also doing flag football.

They learned to throw, catch, kick and carry the ball.  Tonight they do more drills and start scrimmaging, should be interesting to watch.
