We are getting settled here in Plymouth, Minnesota. This is our new rental house. Everything is basically unpacked now with the exception of a few boxes in the garage and the storage area needs some major organization. We put LOTS of our boxes in storage (basically all our decorations) because most likely we'll be moving again somewhere in a year once our house in Geneva is sold and we can spend some time finding our perfect "dream" home here.
Not only have we been busy unpacking, but we've been busy dealing with mosquitoes. Apparently they grow a different breed up here. Will takes after me in the fact that mosquitoes are majorly attracted to him. He got bit up Saturday evening and by Sunday morning his whole face was swollen. He LOVES being outside so we sprayed him down and he went back out Sunday morning and came back in the house with 3-4 more bites. When he woke up from nap he could barely open his left eye. He looked horrific for cousin Keeley's 3rd birthday party Sunday afternoon.
Lots of benadryl, bug spray and a little adapting to the breed of mosquitoes he's recovering. We've been applying calamine lotion daily and trying to keep him from itching but the mosquitoes are BAD here. I'm looking into spray the yard, I can't even sit outside it's that bad.

Some people swear by vanilla spray from Bath and Body works, and my dad uses something called Absorbene (not sure if it is spelled correctly) on the golf course and he loves it. Oh and there are these wristbands you can buy for kids at Walmart that are supposed to keep mosquitos away-we bought them for Africa, haven't used them yet though. Poor little guy-I hate mosquitoes! :(
