Lake country

Ben and Kelly invited us up to Brainerd this week since Ben's parents (Papa and Mugzy) rented a cabin for a week on Round Lake.  The boys were super excited to spend 24 hours with their cousins.  Cousin time is always treasured! :)
Round Lake is the overflow from Gull Lake and was very nice with kids.  They could run to the end of the dock and jump in and it was only 2 feet deep.
Addie (Miss Clean) wanted nothing to do with lake water.  Ben was torturing her here by attempting to get her in the water.
Miss Lauren ready to go boating.  I would have had my hands full if the boat would have sunk because we didn't have a life jacket small enough for this cutie.  Water wings it was...thank god the boat didn't sink! :)
The older 5 were very excited about tubing.  Ben and Kelly debuted their skills first.
We reminded them (multiple times) they could and probably would fall off and/or get thrown in the water but they weren't scared.

Ben and Addie were up first.  She loved it!
Charlotte wanted nothing to do with the tube but had fun watching
 Addie
And then they sunk...and Addie got wet.  But she was actually ok with it since she couldn't touch and feel the "ickiness" of the lake.
Emee and Ben were next, she was a little more hesitant but did great.
I took Dylan out next.  He couldn't get enough.  I think we had the boat going as fast as it would go and he kept saying, "faster Mommy, faster"! :)

Will even took a turn.  At first he wouldn't even look up but then had a blast and went quite fast as well.

 Dylan and Kelly
Will and Kelly, these two took quite the tumble.  I didn't see it because I was entertaining the kids on the boat but thank god for life jackets because it definitely saved Will.  He was definitely a little scared after the fall but we got him back on top and pulled him (really slow) to let him know that it wasn't too scary.  He's still talking about his fall with aunt Kelly!  He keeps telling me, "I didn't fall with you Mommy, just with aunt Kelly!"  haha
Dylan, Addie and Kelly - Dylan and Addie wanted to go without the parents but maybe in a couple years.

next time we need to buy a few kids life jackets :)
Lauren's new trick...she seems to enjoy getting stuck in my cupboards...until she can't get out!
