Florida

We headed down to Florida this past weekend for a long weekend.  The kids have been anxiously awaiting summer but something about 90 degree weather brought out complaints...many of them :) 
It was vacation so we started our Saturday morning with ice cream!

 and all three ate every last bite of their ice cream and cone

I wonder where they get that sweet tooth? :)

 Grandma Kim moved into a new (beautiful) home since the last time we were in Florida.  There is no pool, but a massive hot tub.  We found that if you don't heat it, it's the perfect size pool for a 1, 3, and 5 year old.  They had a blast! 

The new house is also 3 blocks from a huge park downtown Naples.  We walked over and played a couple time this weekend.

 Grandma also lives 6 blocks from the beach...amazing!  Lauren would wake up in the morning chanting, "beach, beach, beach!"

We had a fabulous weekend and an excellent host.  The kids loved spending some time with Grandma and Luke and I enjoyed the HOT weather, despite the complaints.
