Will and Lauren wrapped up their "high school" preschool, as they call it with a party in the park. The physiology class at Wayzata high school hosts a "preschool" 2-3 times a year and they were willing to take Lauren this spring, in addition to Will. They are supposed to be 3 but the teacher invited her to join the class since she was potty trained. She ABSOLUTELY loved it.
I was a little worried, since she's always been quite attached to me, but she did awesome from day 1.
Each student has a "buddy" and they are assigned to them for the class. Lauren's buddy was Zaina, she was amazing with Lauren.
Will's buddy was Kaylie, Will was definitely one of the older kids in the class but he still loved it as well. He was always jealous when Lauren was going to high school preschool and he had to go to his "regular" preschool.
All three down the slide!
Lauren is signed up to go again in the fall and she's looking forward to it already.
Saturday we headed over to Hastings for a BBQ
Robbie, Kim and Carter (Robbie is holding Carter here) were in town from California.
These 4 went to college together and still make time to get together at least once a year (Luke's baseball trip he takes every year). But it was so nice to catch up with all the wives and kids as well.
We indulged in some amazing BBQ smoked by Nick, followed by the kids favorite of smores.
Carter was just adorable! I've seen photos of him on Facebook since he was born (2 weeks before Lauren) and it was so great to finally meet him.
The older kids had a blast as well
And she was smitten with Max :) All three asked us, probably 5-10 times on the way home, when we can visit Jack and Max's house again. We'll have to go back again soon!
