The weather in MN has been a little funky this spring, 80 and summer like one day, 40 and early spring like the next. Nothing's been consistent and lots of rain. As always, the kids have been begging to head back to Iowa because they LOVE playing with their cousins so since the weather looked pretty cold for the lake, we decided to head back for the long weekend.
These 5 braved the chilly (60's) weather and swam for about 45 minutes on opening day. Then we headed to a park to warm up and continue to play.
My parents next door neighbor has kitties, and they were a hit!
You can't tell from these photos but it was about 60 and rainy but they all still wanted to play on the slip and slide.
And it's always a great weekend when Uncle Cannon is home!

As always, a fun, tiring weekend in Iowa. My kids just love Grandma and Grandpa's house and all their cousins!
