2011 was a year of many changes, many joys but also a bit of sadness. Below is a month to month recap. (disclaimer...I'm sure I've forgotten some monumentous moments but these came off the top of my head)
January was a month of lots of indoor activities, Will started eating food (and hasn't stopped to this day) and my beautiful niece Charlotte Kay was born.

February kicked off with potty training Dylan at 26 months! (Fun stuff!! :) Maybe we were lucky but we were successful. Potty training led to lots of indoor activities, including Chicago's snowmageden (27 inches of snow overnight).

March brought spring like temps which in turn led Dylan to learn how to ride a bike and the boys started to actually interact with each other (too cute)!
April started perfectly with a baby shower for Aubrey, a wonderful Easter but then tragedy hit when lil Dolan Michael was born almost 10 weeks early. I was one of the lucky few to get to meet him in his two days on earth (and he was beautiful) and will forever be loved and missed.
May was busy as I quit my job to stay home with the boys, packed up our entire house and we moved to the burbs. Will also turned 9 months old in May.
In June we headed to the Dells for a weekend away with Luke's best friend from college and his family. It turned out to be a cold weekend, but we enjoyed the indoor waterpark.
July 4th was spent back in Iowa soaking in some cousin time, along with Dylan's first completion of swimming lessons. (this kid is a fish now!)

In August, we spent a weekend at Adventureland with the Moroneys (like old times) and celebrated Will's 1st birthday with lots of family and close friends.

September brought on beautiful weather, allowing us to enjoy lots of time in the backyard. Keeley, Mara and Gina came for a visit as well as Grandma Kim and Grandpa Jose.

October started a full month of Halloween activities, capped with a perfect night of trick or treating with some new friends.
In November, we spent an entire week down in Florida with the Korbmacher/Becquer family for Thanksgiving/Christmas and we also celebrated Dylan's 3rd birthday.

We've had a great year, met some fabulous people here in Geneva and look forward to a happy, healthy, prosperous 2012 which will include expanding this family! ahhhh!!! :)
