We had a beautiful weekend and literally spent all day Saturday playing outside, cleaning out the garage and getting everything out of storage from the winter. This included setting up the net on the trampoline, but I took advantage of it being down to get a few good shots of the kids.
St. Paddy's Day is always an exciting time in this house. They enlisted the help of Daddy this year for their trap because Mommy has failed to catch a leprechaun the past few years (good luck Daddy!) This is what they came up with, they were CONVINCED this one was going to work! :)
Unfortunately, the leprechaun got away but did leave some footprints, cupcakes, sprite (it was literally the only green thing I could find at Target) and gold coins.
oh...and a little green pee. Always a hit!
Today, my moms group did a tour of the Plymouth firehouse. Before we left Lauren asked me to do her hair like I do mine. haha
So I obliged and put a little gel in her hair, it curled...a little :)
checking out what's in the bag
teaching them to crawl, in case of a fire
calling "911"
and watching the fireman get all suited up
attempting to make them comfortable with the outfit so they wouldn't be scared if a fireman ever came into their house
While we were touring, the alarm went off and they were all called out to a fire
there they go!
The captain didn't go with them, so he finished the tour and let the kids check out the ladder truck
my little firefighters :)
and they got to "drive"
they had a blast, super fun morning!
