What a Year it's Been!

2010 was quite the year for the Korbmacher household. We started 2010 with an active one year old and had no idea what the year had in store for us. In January Mommy found out she was pregnant and Dylan and I surprised Daddy with the below!
February was full of indoor activities to keep a busy toddler active
and we determined Dylan may be a future cook! (I guess he takes after his Daddy)
In March we headed down to Florida for our annual trip to visit Grandpa Jose and Grandma Kim. We took Dylan to his first Twins game.
Mommy and Daddy did a little golfing and Dylan spent some time enjoying the beach!
In April we celebrated Easter with all the holiday fun, candy, baskets and of course...
dying Easter eggs!
May brought Mother's Day and Mommy's birthday. Mommy got to spend both with her favorite little man!
June not only was Daddy's birthday and Father's Day but was filled with lots of outdoor activities as we discovered Dylan LOVES to be outside.

Around 20 months (July) Dylan's hair finally decided to grow. He still had not had a haircut but it officially starts to curl! So cute! :-) We also ate our fair share of sweet corn once ready for the season. Dylan is officially an Iowa boy as he loves his corn on the cob. We also were fortunate to be invited by a friend of ours to their cabin in Wisconsin for the weekend. It was nice to get away from the city for the weekend. August brought lots of excitement. Chase and Aubrey were married and we had a fabulous time dancing the night away at the reception!
6 days later (and 3 weeks early) we welcomed William Luke into our family (maybe it was all that dancing Mommy did at the wedding). Dylan had a rough few weeks but he's now settled into the role as big brother pretty nicely.

September was spent adjusting to life with 2 under 2. No one tells you just how crazy it is!! I also was lucky to meet up with all my old college roommates for a few hours one afternoon. Six years after graduation our families have expanded...a little bit.
I was still home with the boys through October, loving the fall weather. We spent lots of time outside playing at the park, making new friends and enjoying our time together.
We also took a surprise trip back to Iowa to "trick or treat" at Grandpa and Grandma Dolan's house for Halloween.
In November our big boy turned 2!
And we spent Thanksgiving down in Florida with the Korbmacher/Becquer families celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas.
December was full of holiday fun, enjoying a wonderful Christmas in Iowa with the Dolan family.
I can only hope 2011 is as blessed and full of excitement and joy as 2010 has been.
Happy New Years!
