The Korbmacher household has been in "Easter preparation" mode for the past week. Not only did we hunt and dye eggs, we've been reading and talking about Jesus dying on the cross. Unfortunately, I think all Dylan cares about this year are the "treats" inside the eggs.
My friend Melissa and I thought it would be a great idea to coordinate an Easter egg hunt this year instead of trying to fight the crowds at one of the Chicago Park district hunts. We had around 25 kids RSVP but apparently we chose the crappiest, coldest, rainiest day in April. Instead of rescheduling, we decided a little rain never killed anyone and off we went to hunt for eggs.
eggs!
yep...a little wet!
a few others braved the rain and joined us
this picture explains it all...cold, wet, rainy/snowy...we lastest about 15 minutes and Dylan asked to go home :)
Sunday we decided to dye Easter Eggs! Dylan really enjoyed it this year.
