1st day of preschool

Dylan had his 1st day at Friendship Station preschool this morning.  He has been super excited since his open house last week where he saw his class room and met his teacher Mrs. Rogers.
Will thought he was going to school as well, insisting that he wear his back pack and get pictures taken as well! :)
Showing off their backpacks!  Dylan's was filled with school supplies, so we filled Will's with toys.
And Lauren woke up, so one photo with her before heading out the door.
The preschool has a car drop off/pick up so you don't actually take them into the classroom.  This will be super convenient down the road since I don't have to haul Will and Lauren in and out everyday but was a little hard day 1 since you don't get to walk him into school.  One of the teachers came and grabbed him out of the van and off he went...and never looked back!
Dad was just saying this past weekend that Kelly never looked back when she walked onto the bus for kindergarten, I thought for sure he would...nope (sad day for Mommy, but no tears!)
He loved it, wants to go back on Thursday, and says he behaved...let's hope he's telling the truth! :)

And the other thing I noticed while picking him up, he is TALL for his age!  I swear he was a head above the majority of the kids as they all waited in line for their parents.
