Last weekend was the start of Halloween activities for us. We started with carving pumpkins. This photo depicts exactly how the kids felt about carving: Dylan hated every minute of sticking his hand inside, Will literally has his tongue out saying ick, and Lauren didn't touch the insides of her pumpkin.
I ended up doing a lot of the cleaning out the pumpkins.
But they all picked a design and loved how they turned out. Although Will said his wasn't "perfect"! Apparently I messed up one little spot on his.

Saturday we headed downtown Wayzata for their Boo Blast. Trick or treating at the stores downtown. We ended up with 2 turtles (no surprise there) and Snow White this year. Lauren wanted to be a turtle at first as well, but once we were at the store she went girly and picked Snow White.
We ran into a couple neighbors while trick or treating.
Then Saturday night we put the costumes back on and headed to Medina Country Club for their Halloween party. Daddy decided to freak them all out while I tried to get photos.
The party was dinner, dancing, games, haunted house, hay ride...lots of fun!

she was hilarious dancing the night away!
Sunday was round 3...Will's preschool did a Halloween Family party on Sunday so they could meet all the siblings and not distract from school. They were excited to put the costumes back on again!

This week we have a Halloween party with my moms group, pumpkin celebration at school with Dylan and then Trick or Treating on Friday night. The forecast looks cold...where did our nice weather go? I want it back!!
