I'll get back to Christmas catch up after this post, but I wanted to do a year end wrap up. These are my favorite because it makes me realize how much these kids have grown over the course of the year and makes me a little sad. Look at my baby here a year ago...
January 2014 - kicking off the new year!
trying to survive the bitter cold winter in our new house
celebrating this little ones 18 month milestone!
whoa!
February 2014 - still finding fun activities indoors...BITTER COLD WINTER!
ice skating for the boys
Valentines Day!
fun times with our cousins
March 2014 - attempting a snow man, they begged and begged to build one but the snow was so cold all winter that it refused to pack so finally, in March, we managed to make a small one
Iowa for Addie's 7th birthday!
Ahhh 7!
and we potty trained this girl in 2 days! yes, I said 2 days...day and night, she was amazing!
St. Patty's Day! One of my favorite days of the year...
starting to experiment with her own style :)
April 2014 - Toddler Tuesday at MOA
a fun little photo shoot in our back yard, or an escape outside from the winter
my three loves!
lots of Easter egg hunts - #1 old Neighborhood hunt
#2 Korbmacher Easter hunt
#3 Dolan Easter hunt in Iowa
May 2014 - Florida escape (it was still COLD in MN)
Dylan started t-ball
we spent a lot of time at Lake Minnetonka
Dylan wrapped up 4 year old preschool at Peppermint Fence!
trampoline fun!
Get Your Rear in Gear Race dedicated to Jose!
June 2014 - many many days spent at Lake Minnetonka
and making smores
we celebrated Cayman's 2nd birthday
and we had fabulous visitors!
we also celebrated Keeley's 4th birthday
and loved our time with our Geneva friends!
July 2014 - Lauren turned 2!
we headed to Iowa to visit Liam's new house in Iowa City and visit our cousins
more time on the water
and smores...again :)
Dylan also wrapped up t-ball with a trophy (definitely the highlight of the season!)
August 2014 - we celebrated Will's 4th and Lauren's 2nd with a family bash at the lake (see a theme yet :)
Turtle loving 4 year old!
half princess/half brother follower Ariel Turtle 2 year old :)
the weekend was jammed packed since all these fabulous people decide to come visit us. This is all of us at Valley Fair!
my littles, posing just for me :)
we celebrated Will again on his birthday with all the neighbor kids
and soaked up more sun on the water
we also checked out the MN state fair, so fun!
September started a new chapter in our lives, Kindergarten (real school)
Dylan was so excited and never looked back...I may have shed a little tear but so proud of my kindergartner!
Will started 4 year old preschool as well
a little shy on his first day
it was still beautiful, so we soaked up the sun with parks and activities after school
and also checked out the apple orchard with the cousins
the boys also played a little t-ball...on the same team
very convenient, but a little interesting :)
October 2014 - started by heading downtown to watch Aaron run his first marathon
and I went on a field trip with Will's preschool class
Dylan lost two more teeth, he's now toothless on top which is so weird
We headed to Iowa for a little getaway since it had been forever which meant to had to go visit Mason!
And of course ride tractors
our annual hayride through the fields
and a little fun with leaves
October winded down with pumpkins
and trick or treating fun for Halloween!
November 2014 - with nice weather still upon us, we headed outdoors to play with friends
and then the snow came...so we went sledding! (these photos were literally a week apart :)
Dylan turned 6 and we celebrated a couple times (as usually)
We also took our annual trip to Florida for Thanksgiving. It was cooler this year but that didn't stop the kids.
December 2014 - and we once again celebrated Dylan's birthday with some friends
all three loved decorating the tree this year and really got into the whole "Christmas" thing
Santa went better than expected. Lauren wasn't happy but there were no tears, surprisingly
we also celebrated at the club with breakfast with Santa
the boys started soccer on Saturdays
and loved it
and Will sang in his Christmas program at preschool, super adorable!
we celebrated Christmas with the Korbmachers, Becquers, etc
and Santa found us!
we headed to Iowa to celebrate Christmas with the Dolans, Langes and Staffords
and here we are on NYE...what an memorable year! Through the ups and the downs (which I just left out of the recap), these three make everyday happy. They are fun, lovable and keep everyday entertaining.
Here's to a healthy, happy 2015!
